About the artist

HOW IT ALL STARTED…

Vera Conley is a multi-disciplinary photographic artist based in California, USA focused on landscape, architectural, and macro subjects, with secondary interests in alternative photographic processes and experimental photography. She earned a B.S. in Bio Engineering and after a successful career in the high-tech industry, she rediscovered photography as her medium for her creative outlet and self-expression. She enjoys combining her analytical approach with a desire to explore and innovate to execute her artistic vision. By redefining existing constructs, she aims to create art that evokes a contemplative meditational response from her audience.

Her award-winning work has been recognized by the International Photography Awards (IPA), Minimalist Photography Awards (Long Exposure Photographer of the Year 2021), Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3), Tokyo International Photo Awards, and ND Awards. It has also been exhibited in New York City and Time Square, Beijing, Liverpool, Miami, and California. Her work is held in private and corporate collections in North America.
